Frequently Asked Questions
Does Notchy work with both Spotify and Apple Music?
Yes. Notchy automatically connects to whichever media player is currently playing.
Is Notchy free to use?
No. Notchy is a one-time $24.99 purchase for one Mac (plus tax where it applies), with updates included and no subscription or ads. The 7-day free trial unlocks every feature, no card needed. The app sends activity and update signals tied to a random installation ID, not an account; the privacy policy at notchy.dev/privacy/ lists what is collected.
Does it drain my Mac's battery?
No. Because Notchy is built natively in SwiftUI, it stays light on CPU and battery. It runs no web views or Electron in the background.
