How do I hide Notchy when I share or record my screen?
In Settings → Behavior → Visibility, turn on “Hide from Screen Capture” so screenshots, recordings and screen shares don't show Notchy, or “Hide Pill for Sharing” to hide the pill entirely while you present. “Hide While Mirroring” covers projectors and AirPlay mirroring.
Good to know
Screen-sharing apps differ in how they capture, so check your sharing preview before an important presentation — especially if you use the Cuely teleprompter.
⌥Space (Hide Notchy) hides it instantly from anywhere.
