Put Mac Notifications Where You Want
macOS pins every banner to the top-right corner. Notchy moves them to any corner or edge — or into the notch, once.
Pick where banners land
Top left, top middle, top right, bottom left, bottom middle or bottom right. macOS only draws banners under the top-right corner — right where, on a notched MacBook, the notch already competes for attention.
Or let the notch show them
Notification mirroring shows each alert as an island in the notch. Choose "Notchy Only" and the native corner banner is closed, so you see each notification once, not twice.
Tap to land on the message
Tapping Open on a mirrored notification takes you to that exact message instead of just bringing the app forward. Muting Teams, Slack or Outlook in App Notifications stops their islands too.
Verified, not assumed
When macOS accepts a request to close a banner and leaves it on screen anyway, Notchy re-checks and falls back to a second method, so "Notchy Only" keeps its promise on macOS 26.

Notification Banner Position — FAQ
Can you move notifications on a Mac?
Not in System Settings — macOS always places banners top right. Notchy, since version 1.0.153, lets you move them to any corner or the top or bottom middle of the screen.
How do I get notifications at the bottom of the screen on Mac?
Install Notchy, open its Settings → General and pick bottom left, bottom middle or bottom right for macOS notification banners.
Can I stop notifications appearing twice?
Yes. With mirroring set to "Notchy Only", the notch island replaces the corner banner, and Notchy checks the banner is actually gone rather than assuming it.
What permissions does this need?
Moving and closing banners uses Accessibility; the Notifications tab's history uses Full Disk Access. Notchy's settings say which permission is missing and take you to it in one click.
