Screen Time in the Notch
macOS keeps Screen Time in a System Settings pane you never open. Notchy puts it where you'll see it: how long you've spent in each app today, this week or ever, with a daily average and a seven-day chart — recorded and kept on your Mac.

Counts real use
Five minutes without input and the clock stops — reading or watching still counts, a Mac left on the desk for lunch doesn't. The lock screen and screensaver never count, and Notchy never credits time to itself.
Private by default
No account, no sync, no upload. Screen Time lives in Notchy's local activity store and can be switched off any time.

How do I see how much time I spend in each app on my Mac?
macOS has Screen Time in System Settings. Notchy 1.0.178 adds a Screen Time card to its Activity tab, one swipe into the notch, with per-app totals and a weekly chart.
Does it track websites?
No. Time goes to the app in front, so browsing counts as your browser.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. It stays on this Mac. Notchy has no account to sync it to.
What counts as idle?
Five minutes with no keyboard or mouse input. After that, time stops until you're back.
Is this a replacement for Timing or RescueTime?
For a private glance at your day, yes. For projects, websites, timesheets or team reports, those tools go much further.
