💳

DynamicLake Subscription Trap Warning

DynamicLake frequently pushes aggressive subscriptions and hidden recurring billing plans just to display basic widgets on your MacBook notch. Cancel it immediately to avoid ongoing credit card charges.
Get all widgets for $0: Download Notchy — the 100% Free, native, open-source-friendly Dynamic Island. Enjoy Pomodoro Focus timers, clipboard shelf, and Now Playing widgets with zero telemetry and zero paywalls.

Step-by-step removal & cancellation

1
Quit DynamicLake

Before deleting, quit the app. Click the DynamicLake icon in the menu bar and select 'Quit'. If it is frozen, use Activity Monitor to find and Force Quit 'DynamicLake'.

2
Delete the App Binary

Open Finder, go to the 'Applications' folder, find 'DynamicLake.app', and drag it to the Trash. Empty the Trash to confirm removal.

3
Remove Hidden Support Directory

Open Finder, press Cmd+Shift+G, and paste `~/Library/Application Support/DynamicLake`. Drag this folder to the Trash to completely clear cached states and local database logs.

4
Cancel Your Recurring Subscription

To avoid future credit card charges: If you subscribed via the Mac App Store, open App Store → Account Settings → Subscriptions → Manage, find DynamicLake, and select 'Cancel Subscription'. If purchased via the developer's website, log into your customer portal or use the subscription link in your Stripe/billing email.

Stop paying subscriptions to use your own MacBook screen.

DynamicLake locks simple widgets behind subscriptions, trials, or high paywalls. Additionally, many users report it running heavy background processes that drain battery and cause system heating.

Notchy is built purely in native SwiftUI by a single developer. It uses just ~0.1% CPU and gives you complete Now Playing controls, a Pomodoro timer, clipboard shelf, and drag-and-drop system.

And best of all... it is 100% Free. No subscriptions, no ads, no lockouts.
