Step-by-step removal
You cannot delete an app while it is running. Click the NotchNook icon in your menu bar and select 'Quit'. Alternatively, open Activity Monitor, search for 'NotchNook', and force quit the process.
Open Finder and navigate to your 'Applications' folder. Locate 'NotchNook.app', drag it to the Trash, and empty the Trash.
NotchNook leaves files behind. Open Finder, press Cmd+Shift+G, and paste `~/Library/Containers`. Look for a folder named `cafe.lo.nooky` and delete it to completely wipe its cached data.
Open System Settings → General → Login Items. If NotchNook is still listed there, click the minus (-) button to ensure it doesn't try to launch in the background.
