Can Notchy change how the cursor looks?
Yes, from 1.0.180. Pick a theme in Settings → Pointer and scale it up to 2×. It repaints Apple's cursors rather than drawing a fake one, so hotspots stay exact.
Does Notchy have shake to locate?
Not its own. macOS has shake to locate built in, under System Settings → Accessibility → Display → Pointer.
Do the trails slow my Mac down?
The trail's timer only runs while a tail is on screen, and trails pause entirely in Low Power Mode and with Reduce Motion.
Is Notchy free?
Yes — every pointer theme and effect is free.
