Why are some Notchy features turned off after I install it?
On purpose: a fresh install starts every optional feature switched off, and the first-run tour offers them one card at a time. Anything you skipped can be turned on later in Settings — search for its name.
Good to know
Updates follow the same rule. A feature added in a new version ships switched off and is offered in that version's What's New tour, so an update never changes how your Mac behaves without asking. Your existing settings are always kept.
Examples of opt-in features: Knock to Open, Meeting Countdown, Lock Screen Widgets, Sound Mixer Tab, Ask AI Tab, Dictation Shortcut and Snap with the Keyboard.
