Why does a Homebrew update fail in Notchy's Packages tab?

Notchy runs your own Homebrew without a terminal, so it can't type a password. A cask that needs sudo fails with Homebrew's own error — run brew upgrade --cask <name> in Terminal for that one.

Good to know

Notchy uses brew at /opt/homebrew/bin/brew or /usr/local/bin/brew and never installs Homebrew itself. The Packages tab checks for updates only when you open it or press Refresh.
