Why doesn't Notchy show my AirPods when I open the case?

AirPods detection needs Notchy's Bluetooth permission (Settings → Permissions). Then open the case close to your Mac — Notchy only pops the connect island for a case right next to it, so a neighbor's AirPods never trigger it.

Good to know

“AirPods Not Connected” or “Pair or reconnect from Bluetooth” means macOS itself doesn't have them connected — pair them in System Settings → Bluetooth first.
