How do I keep a countdown to my next calendar meeting on the island?
Turn on “Upcoming Event Island” in Settings → Calendar → Live Activity and choose “Lead Time”. With a connected calendar and an upcoming event, Notchy shows a persistent meeting countdown rather than only a brief notification. Hover for event details and a Join action when the event has a supported meeting link.
Step by step
- Connect your calendar and approve Calendar access if you use macOS calendars.
- Enable “Upcoming Event Island” in Settings → Calendar → Live Activity.
- Set “Lead Time” to the number of minutes before an event that you want the countdown to appear.
Good to know
If the countdown is missing, check Notifications-Only Mode, the selected calendar source and whether the event falls within your lead time. A Join action requires a meeting link in the event.
