I lost my Notchy license key. How do I get it back?
Your key was emailed to the address you used at checkout: search your inbox (and spam) for “Your Notchy license key”, sent by Dodo Payments, Notchy's payment provider. Can't find it? Email support@notchy.dev from your purchase email address, and we'll send it again.
Step by step
- Search your email for “Your Notchy license key” or “Dodo Payments”, including spam and other inboxes you might have used.
- Still nothing? Write to support@notchy.dev from the address you bought with. If you used a different address, include it and roughly when you bought Notchy.
- If Notchy is still activated on one of your Macs, Settings → License shows the email it's licensed to, which tells you which inbox to search.
Good to know
Moving to a new Mac: open Notchy on the new Mac, enter your license key in Settings → License (or in the window Notchy shows when the trial ends), then choose “Move to This Mac”. Notchy stops working on the old Mac within a few hours, or once that Mac is back online.
Selling, giving away or wiping a Mac? First open Settings → License on it and choose “Deactivate This Mac…”. That frees the license, so the next Mac can activate it right away.
A license works on one Mac at a time. Each additional Mac needs its own license.
