How does Notchy track my Claude, Codex or Cursor usage?
The AI Usage tab reads the local logs that Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Antigravity and Copilot already keep on your Mac — no extra permissions, no keys, and nothing leaves your Mac. To track a provider's remote limits too, add an account in Settings → AI Usage → Accounts & Credentials.
Good to know
Adding an account: choose “Add Account”, pick the provider and paste its API key or token. Notchy checks the key with a real request before saving it to your macOS Keychain. If that provider's CLI is already signed in on your Mac, Notchy uses that login and you don't need a key.
Warnings for approaching limits, running out and limits resetting are in the same settings page. “Hide Personal Information” masks project names, paths and emails in the tab.
