Why aren't lyrics showing or scrolling in time?
Notchy fetches time-synced lyrics from the free LRCLIB database. If a song has no entry, nothing shows; if the only copy doesn't match your recording's length (within 3 seconds), Notchy shows the lines for reading but doesn't auto-scroll, rather than scroll out of sync.
Good to know
Turn on “Additional Lyrics Provider” to try NetEase lyrics first — helpful for Asian-language music. Availability varies by region.
If lines run slightly early or late, nudge them with “Lyrics Timing” in Settings → Now Playing.
Lyrics can also show on the pill, as a floating Desktop Lyrics panel, or full screen on the lock screen.
Only the track title and artist are sent to the lyrics service.
