How do I see which Spotify playlists already contain the current track?
Connect Spotify, then enable “Playlist Checkmarks” in Settings → Now Playing → Playlists. Open Add to Playlist for the current track: Notchy checks membership and marks playlists that already contain it, so clicking an existing entry does not add a duplicate.
Step by step
- Connect Spotify if likes and playlists are not enabled yet.
- Turn on “Playlist Checkmarks” in Settings → Now Playing → Playlists.
- Open Add to Playlist and let the membership checks finish.
Good to know
An unavailable or incomplete membership check is not proof that a track is absent. Reopen the picker to refresh the results; reconnect Spotify if Notchy asks you to.
If duplicates still appear on the current version, report the track's Spotify link and whether the playlist showed present, absent or unavailable.
