How to Uninstall Sleeve App
Do you want to clean up your desktop and move Now Playing off your wallpaper? Here is how to completely wipe the Sleeve app from your Mac in under two minutes.
Switching from Sleeve?
Sleeve 3 is $5.99 and now needs macOS 26 Tahoe. Notchy puts Now Playing in the notch instead of on your desktop, on macOS 13 and later, with synced lyrics, clipboard history and a file shelf.
Step-by-step removal
Before deleting Sleeve, make sure it is not running. Click the Sleeve helper menu and choose 'Quit'. If it is unresponsive, open Activity Monitor, search for 'Sleeve', and Force Quit it.
Open Finder, go to Applications, locate 'Sleeve.app', drag it to the Trash, and empty your Trash.
Sleeve stores its customization files in your Library. Open Finder, press Cmd+Shift+G, and paste ~/Library/Application Support/Sleeve. Delete that folder. Next, press Cmd+Shift+G again, paste ~/Library/Preferences/com.replay.sleeve.plist, and delete that file.
Go to System Settings → General → Login Items. Ensure Sleeve is removed from your login items so macOS doesn’t try to open a missing application during startup.
Now Playing in the notch.

Sleeve 3 is $5.99 one-time. It is not a subscription, so there is nothing recurring to cancel.
Why will Sleeve not run on my Mac?
Sleeve 3 requires macOS 26 Tahoe. If your Mac is on Ventura, Sonoma or Sequoia you cannot run the current version — which is why a lot of people go looking for a replacement rather than an uninstall.
How do I fully remove Sleeve?
Quit it, delete Sleeve.app from Applications, clear its cache and Application Support folders, and remove it from Login Items. The steps above cover each one.
Is Sleeve safe?
